Baa Woon

Baa Woon; translation = Balloon . Nicolo is going through his language explosion and one of his newest words in balloon. Francesco came home with 2 balloons the other day after an afternoon out with daddy. They played with those balloons for hours. They wanted to take them to bed but with the strings attached I protested and did not allow it.

The next morning the were almost completely deflates and would not "fly". They still wanted them but appeared a little disappointed at the lack of aerial height they maintained. I decided to run out on my "lunch hour" and pick up 2 new balloons from the party store around the corner from my work.

2 balloons = $1.30
2 balloon weights = $.50
Hearing my baby say Baa Woon a million times = priceless!

  1. Haha - too cute. My favorite word Tyler is trying to pronouce right now is Soccer. He can't get the "S" out right, so he goes around saying, "Yoccer Ball". I love the reflections you captured in the 2nd shot!

  4. I love everything about this post, most of all how it captures that special part of a mother who's always finding something to bring a smile to her children's faces. Precious!

  5. The only time I can stand baby talk is when it comes from real babies. And then it's perfectly adorable. I love that you got them more balloons. Good mommy move there. :)

  6. My boys LOVE baloons! Cole calls them ba-ba (just like he says ball, for some reason). I am planning on doing a photoshoot of the boys with balloons someday soon (after we get settled in the new house!) Can't wait!

  7. Love this - the photos, the moments, the way he says "bawoon." I'll bet with his language explosion that every day is like this!
