Seeing how last weekend was so gorgeous here it only seemed right to go with the theme of Spring. What could be better than all the new life that is emerging. Well, don't you know it started to rain right after
Jen and I agreed on the theme...I was like ugh! Today the clouds lifted, the sky was blue and the sun shone bright. I took a walk at lunch and found a lot of budding trees, it was the sign that Spring is really here!
I like how mine is a bud, and
Jen's are flowers. The DOF and how the green (
New Green Momma) in hers contrasts the brown in mine. Like I said, Spring has Sprung!

Just Beautiful! We could have done a quadruple team up!
ReplyDeletespring is definitely inspiring, and your diptych proves that!
ReplyDeletevery cool! you know what? Amanda and I did beginnings and both ended up with nature shots...they are virtually identical subjects to yours!
ReplyDeleteI hope that Spring is springing in Iowa! I am realizing more everyday how much we are spoiled in California... These flowers are gorgeous, Cara.
ReplyDeleteSpring! Yeah! Even in Cali there are signs of spring - even if they are not as pronounced as the rest of the US.
ReplyDeleteI adore the DOF on both of your shots! So lovely and hope for good things to come.
Love it! These are great captures!
ReplyDeleteps - it is such a small world ... New Green Mama made my husband's birthday gift last year! :-)
pps - I love your last post, it is a hard thing to remember some days.
I love it that there are variations on this theme everywhere today....your theme of spring, mine of neg space, beginning for another group....all of them show the fresh new life of spring! Awesome. Such a lovely little bud full of hope...and daffodils - my fav flowers!
ReplyDeleteFrom beginning buds to full out blooms. Spring is in the air. :)
ReplyDeleteIt certainly has! Beautiful team-up :)
ReplyDeleteI love how the two of you have said SPRING! Great job!
ReplyDeleteYeah for spring! I can't wait to start seeing the signs here too. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!
Just lovely. The tight buds and the lush flowers really are a perfect contrast. Great pair!
ReplyDeleteThe bud and the bloom, I think they go great together. Around here on the first day of spring it snowed. ;) Melted by noon but it was still weird.
