Team Up Thursday : Lunch

I was having a hard time thinking of an idea for theme this week to suggest to Jen when I resorted to asking my 3 year old. I said to Francesco, "What should mommy take a picture of?", his response was "Lunch." When I told Jen this she said let do it.

I then got the opportunity to go to lunch with my favorite person at my favorite restaurant and ate my favorite dish. Yes, I had lunch with my hubby and I had Crunchy Spicy Tuna Sushi! 10 years ago I would have never eaten raw fish but sushi has become one of my favorite.

Jen's looks yummy too, fresh fruit is always so good and good for you! When Francesco saw it he said, "Ohhh, I love them strawberries!"

    Great lunch shots! I love the vibrant colors of Jen's fruit and although sushi doesn't really appeal to me, The texture and DOF in this shot, Cara is awesome. It almost makes me what to try it again to see if I like it....ALMOST! :)

    The strawberries are alwauys the first to go. I have to admit they are my favorite too.

    funny that the foods don't go together at all, but the shots do! maybe i'll poll my kids for my next theme, too :).

    Those both are making me hungry (as my frozen lunch is heating up lol :) Yesterday my lunch was a Carolina Roll - eel, crab & avocado yum! I can't wait for May and have a fresh picked strawberry. Great dips!

    I dont like sushi to eat, but it sure makes for a great shot. Love the DOF and the texture of the rolls. Jenn's fruit looks so juicy and inviting! Great combo Gals.

    MMM, both look delicious.. I never go wrong with fruit for a snack and I love sushi. Philadelphia rolls are my favorite.

    I am so hungry. I had a giant donut for breakfast, so I wasn't hungry for lunch. Now I am. And both dishes look unbelievably delish.
